On board the tour boat, we combine the tranquil surroundings of Odense Ås with a carefully selected range of wines from Europe’s leading wine countries.
From Italy’s sun-ripened grapes to Spain’s full-bodied favorites and France’s elegant icons, we taste our way through wines that have made wine history and set the standard for enjoyment worldwide.
Our sommelier will guide you through the different regions, grape varieties and traditions that have given Europe its special place in the wine world. Along the way, we share both knowledge and stories that put the taste in perspective.
Whether you’re new to the world of wine or already an enthusiast, we promise an evening of insight, fun and not least fantastic wines. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, so there’s plenty of room for conversation, laughter and shared experiences.

Wine Tasting: Europe’s Favorites is a themed wine tasting with Odense Aafart, inviting you on a tasting journey through some of Europe’s most beloved wines and classic wines from the European wine landscape. The event combines a pleasant boat trip on the Odense River with wine tasting and knowledge about the different styles and origins of wine.

The sailing takes place on Odense River on the same stretch as Odense Aafart’s other tour boats.

No, the tour is conducted as a single event without boarding and disembarking along the way.

Do I need to buy a ticket in advance?
Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance via Odense Aafart’s website, as there are a limited number of seats.

Only if seats are available. It is recommended to book well in advance.

Yes, if the gift card is valid for events at Odense Aafart.
Is there an age limit?
Yes – the event is for adults over the age of 18, as alcohol is included in the tasting.
Practical information on board
Can I bring my own drinks?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks as drinks are sold on board.
Is there a toilet on board?
There is no toilet on board the tour boats. We recommend that you use the restrooms before departure.
Can I get on the tour boat with a wheelchair?
Only manual wheelchairs can enter the tour boat. There are two steps down into the boats. There are no ramps, so you need a pair of hands to help you down the two steps and into the boat. Then we carry the chair down afterwards.
Walkers can be brought along.
Can you smoke on board the tour boats?
Generally no, unless otherwise agreed for private tours.
Does Odense Aafart sail in all weathers?
Yes, Odense Aafart sails in all kinds of weather. The boats are covered and we sail on the Odense River on a stretch that is well protected from wind and weather.
