Start the evening beautifully with a relaxing boat trip on the Odense River, where you quietly glide through the green surroundings and arrive at the concert in good time and with just the right atmosphere.
The boat departs from Munke Mose at 18:00 and arrives at Fruens Bøge at 18:30, from where it is a short walk to Funen Village.

On each concert evening, an extra departure is scheduled at 18:00, so you and your fellow concert guests can start the evening with a relaxing boat trip to Fruens Bøge, where the Funen Village is the setting for Live Culture’s atmospheric concerts.
By choosing the boat trip as transportation, you get the opportunity to start the concert evening in calm and scenic surroundings while gliding through the green landscape of Odense Ås.

Set sail for the Hans Christian Andersen Andersen Festival in the Funen Village
In 2026 you can experience the performance “Klods-Hans”, which is played every day from July 17 to August 8 at 16:00. Both adults and children can look forward to an imaginative and captivating story performed by a large team of actors, singers and performers of all ages.
Odense Aafart offers the opportunity to combine the theater experience with an atmospheric boat trip on Odense River. The tour boats sail to Fruens Bøge, from where it’s a short walk to the Funen Village and the festival’s venue.
The boat trip gives you a calm and scenic prelude to the performance and is a beautiful way to arrive at the theater. Along the way, you’ll sail through green surroundings and have the opportunity to let your shoulders relax before the adventure begins.
We sail from 10:00-18:00 throughout the period.

How do I get to the Odense Aafart concerts?
On selected concert nights, Odense Aafart offers an extra departure from Munke Mose directly to Fruens Bøge, from where it is a short walk to the Funen Village.

The boat departs at 18:00 from Munke Mose and arrives at Fruens Bøge at 18:30, so you have plenty of time to settle in before the concert begins.
Do I need a ticket for both the concert and the boat trip?
Yes, tickets for the boat trip with Odense Aafart and tickets for the concert are purchased separately. Concert tickets are purchased via Live Culture.

How long does the boat trip take?
The boat trip from Munke Mose to Fruens Bøge takes about 30 minutes and takes place in calm, scenic surroundings on the Odense River.
Are food and drinks sold on board the boat?
There are no sales on board the tour boat. You are welcome to visit the kiosk in Munke Mose before departure and bring drinks or snacks for the tour.
Can I bring a stroller, walker or wheelchair?
Ordinary wheelchairs and walkers can be brought along. Strollers can be brought by arrangement – we recommend that you contact us before departure.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The sailing trip will generally take place regardless of the weather. In case of changes or cancellations, affected guests will be informed as soon as possible.
