Start the evening in the most beautiful way with a relaxing boat ride on the Odense River, where you’ll glide quietly through the green surroundings and arrive at the concert well in advance and in just the right mood.
The boat departs from Munke Mose at 6:00 p.m. and arrives at Fruens Bøge at 6:30 p.m., from where it’s just a short walk to Den Fynske Landsby.

On each concert night, an extra departure is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., so you and your fellow concertgoers can start the evening with a relaxing boat ride to Fruens Bøge, where Den Fynske Landsby provides the setting for Live Culture’s atmospheric concerts.
By choosing the boat ride as your mode of transportation, you’ll have the opportunity to begin your concert evening in peaceful and scenic surroundings as you glide through the green landscape of Odense Å.

Set sail for the Hans Christian Andersen Andersen Festival in the Funen Village
In 2026, you can see the play “Klods-Hans,” which will be performed daily from July 17 to August 8 at 4:00 p.m. Both adults and children can look forward to an imaginative and captivating story performed by a large cast of actors, singers, and performers of all ages.
Odense Aafart offers the opportunity to combine the theater experience with an atmospheric boat ride on the Odense River. The tour boats sail to Fruens Bøge, which is just a short walk from Den Fynske Landsby and the festival’s performance venue.
The boat ride offers a peaceful and scenic prelude to the performance and is a beautiful way to arrive at the theater. Along the way, you’ll sail through lush green surroundings and have the chance to unwind before the adventure begins.

How do I get to the concerts with Odense Aafart?
On selected concert nights, Odense Aafart offers an extra departure from Munke Mose directly to Fruens Bøge, from where it is a short walk to the Funen Village.

The boat departs at 18:00 from Munke Mose and arrives at Fruens Bøge at 18:30, so you have plenty of time to settle in before the concert begins.
Do I need a ticket for both the concert and the boat ride?

The boat trip from Munke Mose to Fruens Bøge takes about 30 minutes and takes place in calm, scenic surroundings on the Odense River.
Are food and drinks available for purchase on board the boat?
There are no sales on board the tour boat. You are welcome to visit the kiosk in Munke Mose before departure and bring drinks or snacks for the tour.
Can I bring a stroller, walker, or wheelchair?
Ordinary wheelchairs and walkers can be brought along. Strollers can be brought by arrangement – we recommend that you contact us before departure.
What happens if the weather is bad?
The sailing trip will generally take place regardless of the weather. In case of changes or cancellations, affected guests will be informed as soon as possible.
