Guests with disabilities
Wheelchair on board the tour boat
Manual wheelchairs can be brought on board the tour boats. The boats have two steps down to the deck and as there are no ramps on the older boats, some assistance may be needed to get down safely.
Can I use a companion pass?
At Odense Aafart, disabled people can bring a companion and get a companion ticket at half price for a River cruise on Odense River when the companion has a valid companion card issued by Danske Handicaporganisationers Brugerservice.

Our base is located at Munke Mose, where you will also find the ticket office and our outdoor café. The address is Filosofgangen 30. You can find us on Google Maps here.
There are many parking options in Odense C, which is within walking distance. We recommend Q-park Filosoffen, about 250 meters from us, where you can get a discount by booking in advance. Get a discount here.
Fruens Bøge
Our location here is on the river in the beech forest without a concrete address. However, you can find our location on Google Maps here.

Bus
If arriving by bus, we recommend dropping off at Ansgar Church at the bus stop on Søndre Boulevard, close to our base at Munke Mose.
Canoe rental from Munke Mose
To pick up your canoe at Munke Mose, walk about 500 meters down the river path from the ticket office. You can see the location on Google Maps here.
We recommend parking in Q-park Filosoffen or another public parking lot, as the residential roads around the pick-up point only allow resident parking.

Tickets and timetable
How do I buy tickets?
You can buy tickets online on our website or at the box office at our base at Munke Mose.
Can I jump off at Odense Zoo?
Yes – you can, but you need to buy a ticket to Odense Zoo to go ashore there.
Do the boats sail to Fruens Bøge?
Yes – our tour boats sail between Munke Mose, Odense Zoo and Fruens Bøge.

Parking space
Where can I park my car?
We recommend parking in the parking garage Filosoffen, which is close to our base in Munke Mose.
Where do I park if I drive from Fruens Bøge?
You can use the nearby parking lots such as Fruens Bøge Station/Restaurant Carlslund and Skovalleen Parkering.
Is there bus access close to us?
There are good bus connections to the area around Munke Mose and bus stops are within walking distance to our base.
Practical information on board
Can I bring my own drinks?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks as drinks are sold on board.
Can I buy drinks on board?
Yes, drinks can be purchased during the voyage.
Is there a toilet on board?
There is no toilet on board the tour boats. We recommend that you use the restrooms before departure.
Can I get on the tour boat with a wheelchair?
Only manual wheelchairs can enter the tour boat. There are two steps down into the boats. There are no ramps, so you need a pair of hands to help you down the two steps and into the boat. Then we carry the chair down afterwards.
Walkers can be brought along.
Can you smoke on board the tour boats?
Generally no, unless otherwise agreed for private tours.
Does Odense Aafart sail in all weathers?
Yes, Odense Aafart sails in all kinds of weather. The boats are covered and we sail on the Odense River on a stretch that is well protected from wind and weather.

It’s a fun and interactive treasure hunt on Odense River, where children can help Theodor find his secret treasure. Along the way they experience the river, nature and little mysteries.
