What experiences can you try at Odense Aafart?
At Odense Aafart you can experience classic round trips on Odense River, rent pedal boats or canoes and participate in a wide range of events such as wine tastings, beer tastings, Drinks Cruise, Gin & Tonic Cruise and Music on the River. There are experiences for families, groups of friends and companies alike.
How long does a River cruise on Odense River last?
A classic River cruise lasts approximately 1 hour and travels between Munke Mose, Odense Zoo and Fruens Bøge. You can hop on and off at the stops throughout the day.
Do I need to book a water bike or canoe in advance?
In high season, it is recommended to book in advance, especially during weekends and holidays. However, boats may be available on the day depending on demand.
What is the difference between Drinks Cruise and Gin & Tonic Cruise?
The Drinks Cruise is a cozy cruise with a focus on atmosphere and different cocktails, while the Gin & Tonic Cruise focuses on tasting several different gin & tonics with selected varieties.
Are the experiences only for adults?
What to do. Tours, pedal boats and canoes are great for both children and adults. However, events such as wine tasting, beer tasting and Gin & Tonic Cruise are only for people over 18.
Can I buy food and drinks during the experiences?
Yes, drinks and snacks are available for purchase on selected tours and events. For special events such as Music on the River or tastings, drinks are often included in the ticket.
Are the experiences suitable for corporate events?
Yes, many companies use Odense Aafart for team building, customer events and summer parties. It is possible to book private tours and combine sailing with catering or events.
What experiences can you combine on the same day?
It is possible to combine a River cruise on Odense River with, for example, a boat trip to Odense Zoo, water bike rental or participation in an event later in the day. Many guests plan a full day of experiences with both sailing and staying in the area around Munke Mose and Fruens Bøge.
Can you hop on and off during the round trip?
Yes, on the classic tour you can hop on and off at stops throughout the day. This gives you flexibility if you want to visit Odense Zoo or take a break along the way.
Is there an age limit for events?
Yes, events such as wine tastings, beer tastings, Drinks Cruise and Gin & Tonic Cruise are reserved for people over 18 years old. Regular boat trips and rental of pedal boats and canoes are suitable for both children and adults.
How many people can fit in a pedal boat or canoe?
Our canoe is a Lind 525, the largest and most stable on the market. There is room for 3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. Note that the canoes have a load capacity of 400 kg, including luggage.
There is a maximum of four adults and one small child (max 3 years) (or max 300 kg) in a pedal boat. If you have more than 4 people (or more than 300 kg), you need to rent a second pedal boat. Both requirements must be met. You can’t take 5 people even if you weigh less than 300 kg.
Can you buy gift cards for experiences?
Yes, it is possible to buy gift cards that can be used for both tours and events. A gift card is a popular gift idea for experiences in Odense.
Do you offer private events or private parties?
Yes, it is possible to book private sailing trips and events for corporate events, team building or private parties. The experience can be customized with catering and special requests.
Where do events like Music on the River and tastings take place?
Events are held on board the tour boats and typically sail on the stretch between Munke Mose and Fruens Bøge. This creates a unique atmosphere with nature and city life as a backdrop.
Can you bring food and drinks on board?
It is allowed on regular boat trips unless otherwise stated. For events with included drinks, special rules may apply.
