Our boat docks at Odense Zoo on the outward journey, so you can combine a boat trip with a visit to the zoo. Please note that stops are only made here on the outward journey and that a zoo ticket is required for boarding or disembarking.

3. Fruens Bøge – Turning point in the forest

Our tour reaches its highest point at Erik Bøgs Sti in Fruens Bøge, where the tour boat turns around and begins the return trip. Departure here is always at half past the hour.

What does the route map for Odense Aafart show?

The route map shows the fixed sailing route on Odense River and the three stops: Munke Mose, Odense Zoo and Fruens Bøge. The map gives you a visual overview so you can easily plan your trip.

Answer. You can get on at all three stops: Munke Mose, Odense Zoo and Fruens Bøge.
When you buy a ticket, you choose the starting point, end point and departure time. You can also choose to get off along the way and return with a later departure, as long as it fits with the sailing schedule.

The boat trip starts and ends in Munke Mose. Here you will find ticket sales and an outdoor café, and all boats depart from here.
However, you are free to choose to start and end at any of our other stops.

A River cruise with Odense Aafart lasts approximately 1 hour from the start in Munke Mose and return to the same place.

The tour boats have three fixed stops:

Right. The boat stops at Odense Zoo on the way out. You can get on or off here if you have a valid Zoo ticket. There is no stop at the Zoo on the return trip.

In Fruens Bøge, the boat turns around. Departure from here is always in half an hour. The area is located in the middle of the forest and marks the turning point of the tour.
