In 2026 you can experience the performance “Klods-Hans”, which is played every day from July 17 to August 8 at 16:00. Both adults and children can look forward to an imaginative and captivating story performed by a large team of actors, singers and performers of all ages.
Odense Aafart offers the opportunity to combine the theater experience with an atmospheric boat trip on Odense River. The tour boats sail to Fruens Bøge, from where it is a short walk to the Funen Village and the festival’s venue.
The boat trip gives you a calm and scenic prelude to the performance and is a beautiful way to arrive at the theater. Along the way, you’ll sail through green surroundings and have the opportunity to let your shoulders relax before the adventure begins.

Throughout the summer, Odense Aafart offers boat trips to Fruens Bøge – one of Odense’s most beautiful and historic destinations. From here it’s a short walk to the Funen Village, which makes it ideal to combine the boat trip with a visit to the living open-air museum.
The Funen Village tells the story of rural life in the 1800s and is made up of authentic farms, houses and gardens from all over Funen. Odense Aafart sails throughout the summer season to Fruens Bøge, from where it’s a short walk to the Funen Village. The boat trip starts in Munke Mose and offers a calm and scenic trip on the Odense River. Tickets can be purchased online or at the kiosk in Munke Mose. When the visit is over, you can take the tour boat back to Munke Mose later in the day.
By ordering a return ticket on our website or at the kiosk at Munke Mose, you can choose where and what time you want to return to Munke Mose.

Ordinary wheelchairs and walkers can be brought along. Prams and pushchairs require the purchase of a child ticket.
Are there sales on board the tour boat?
There are no sales on board the tour boat. We recommend that you visit the kiosk in Munke Mose before departure and bring refreshments for the tour.
