These terms and conditions apply to purchases and bookings made through www.aafart.dk.

Depending on the activity you book, you will enter into an agreement with one of the following companies.

Booking and payment

Booking is made online via the website.

Payment can be made with Dankort, VISA-Dankort, VISA, Mastercard and MobilePay.

All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT.

Companies wishing to pay via EAN number or invoice, please contact us by email or phone.

The booking is binding once payment has been completed.

Ticket Delivery

Tickets are delivered electronically to the provided email address immediately after purchase.

Tickets can be presented on a smartphone or as a printout.

If you do not receive your ticket, we recommend checking your spam or junk mail folder.

Validity

Tickets are valid for the date and time specified on the ticket or in the booking confirmation.

Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Section 18(2)(12) of the Consumer Contracts Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the purchase of tickets or the booking of activities on a specific date.

Therefore, tickets and bookings are generally non-refundable.

Exception:
Gift cards may be canceled within 14 days if they have not been used.
Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Rebooking

Boat Tours – River cruise on the Odense River

Tickets can be rebooked up to 24 hours before departure if seats are available.

Events

Tickets for events are binding and cannot be rebooked or refunded.

Water bikes

Bookings can be rebooked up to 24 hours before start time, subject to availability.

Canoeing – special conditions

Canoes are rented through Aafartens Kanoudlejning (ME Rome ApS).

When booking a canoe, the customer accepts the special terms of trade and rental conditions for canoes, which appear when booking in the webshop.

These conditions include, among other things:

  • Cancellation policy

  • Responsibility for equipment

  • Rules for returning canoes

  • Safety and sailing at your own risk

Cancellation conditions for canoe rental

We understand that plans can change. Here are our cancellation and refund policies:

  1. Cancellation at least 30 days before the tour’s start date/time:
    • The full amount will be refunded, minus a processing fee of 75 DKK per booking (order number).
  2. Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before the tour’s start date/time:
    • 75% of the full amount will be refunded, with a minimum of 75 kr. per booking (order number).
  3. Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before the trip’s start date/time:
    • 50% of the full amount will be refunded.
  4. Cancellation less than 7 days before the tour’s start date/time:
    • No refund.

Responsibility

All sailing and use of equipment is at your own risk.

The customer is responsible for the rented equipment during the rental period.

The rental company is not responsible for guests’ personal belongings.

Weather Conditions

Activities may be canceled due to hazardous weather, technical issues, or other safety concerns.

If the event is canceled by the organizer, participants will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund.

Personal Data

When you make a booking, we collect your name, address, phone number, and email address.

This information is used for customer administration and is retained for up to 5 years in accordance with applicable laws.

Force Majeure

Odense Aafart ApS and ME Rome ApS cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, epidemics, government orders, or technical failures.
