Every summer, the Hans Christian Andersen Andersen Festival brings classic fairy tales to life under the open sky. The performances are staged in the authentic buildings and green surroundings of Funen Village, which become a natural part of the scenography and create a special closeness between the audience and the story.
The Festival is an experience for children and adults alike, combining theater, music and storytelling in a format that speaks to multiple generations at once.
In 2026 you can experience the performance “Klods-Hans”, which is played every day from July 17 to August 8 at 16:00. Both adults and children can look forward to an imaginative and captivating story performed by a large team of actors, singers and performers of all ages.

Yes, you can do that. Prams, strollers, pushchairs and the like cost a child ticket. Wheelchairs do not cost extra, but we do not have space for large, heavy electric wheelchairs.
Bicycles are not allowed on board
What happens if the weather is bad?
The sailing trip will generally take place regardless of the weather. In case of changes or cancellations, affected guests will be informed as soon as possible.
