Welcome to a wonderful gin tasting on the Odense River!
A breeze sweeps across Munke Mose, causing the waves to gently lap back and forth. The treetops rustle, and the light flickers through the leaves before falling onto the boat as it glides quietly across the water.
Make yourself comfortable here on the boat’s benches while you enjoy the view of the lush greenery and sip a cool gin and tonic. There’s hardly a better way to experience the Odense River.
We’re looking forward to a lovely evening where we’ll sample some delicious Gin & Tonics while learning a bit about the different types of gin available. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at Fruens Bøge, where we’ll enjoy one of three Gin & Tonics in beautiful surroundings.
The concept is simple and really great:
– A 1.5-hour boat ride on the Odense River
– 3 gin and tonics – A stop in the woods at Fruens Bøge, where one of the G&Ts will be served
– An introduction to the different gins
– Short, entertaining stories along the way

We’ll meet 15 minutes before departure at Odense Aafart, located at Filosofgangen 30B, 5000 Odense C.
The tour lasts about 1.5 hours and ends at 8:30 p.m.

Is there a restroom on board?
There is no toilet on board the tour boats. We recommend that you use the restrooms before departure.
Can you board the tour boat with a wheelchair?
Only manual wheelchairs can enter the tour boat. There are two steps down into the boats. There are no ramps, so you need a pair of hands to help you down the two steps and into the boat. Then we carry the chair down afterwards.
Walkers can be brought along.
Is smoking allowed on board the tour boats?
Generally no, unless otherwise agreed for private tours.
Does Odense Aafart operate in all kinds of weather?
Yes, Odense Aafart sails in all kinds of weather. The boats are covered and we sail on the Odense River on a stretch that is well protected from wind and weather.
