Here you get an overview of parking options on the different routes
When you’re planning your canoe trip, the right parking makes for a calm start to your experience. On this page you’ll find information on where to park near our starting points and how to easily get to your canoe.
We’ll guide you to the most convenient parking options so you can avoid unnecessary transportation and focus on getting on the water safely and comfortably.
Munke Mose (By-Ruten)
In Munke Mose by the Aafarten ticket office there are a number of parking options for cars. Odense C offers a lot of parking options, but most of them require payment or are time-limited. Our recommendation is that you park in the parking garage ‘Filosoffen’ which is close to Odense Aafart.
You will find the canoes at Aafartens Værksted, which is located approximately 700 meters from the Filosoffen parking garage. You can see the location of Aafartens Værksted on the map here:
Skovsøen
There are several options for parking close to Engen by Skovsøen: You can choose between parking at the parking areas at Jensens Bøfhus, Den Fynske Landsby, Fruens Bøge Station or on the southern part of Skovalleen by Skovsøen Ice House.
Parking is free of charge at the above locations
Bellinge
It’s easy to find parking near the canoe bridge in Bellinge.
We recommend parking at Ådalskolen, which is close to the starting point. From there it’s only a short walk to the canoe bridge.
Please do not park on the grassy area by the canoe bridge. It is heavily used by many and parked cars can prevent cars and trailers from loading and unloading.
Ejby Mill
If you end your canoe trip at Ejby Mølle, there are unfortunately no parking spaces nearby, but there are nearby residential streets where you can park for free.
We suggest Jomborgsvej or Styrbjørnsvænget, for example.
Stige Island (The Warm Water)
The end station at Stige Island (Det Varme Vand) is marked on the map to the right.
For your convenience, we recommend parking your car at the end of the tour. This makes it easy for you to move on at the end of the tour. There is free parking right next to the terminus, so you can park without worries.
