Here’s an overview of parking options along the various routes
When planning your canoe trip, finding the right parking spot ensures a smooth start to your adventure. On this page, you’ll find information about where to park near our launch sites and how to easily make your way to the canoe.
We’ll guide you to the most convenient parking options so you can avoid unnecessary travel and focus on getting out on the water safely and comfortably.
Munke Mose (By-Ruten)
In Munke Mose, near the Odense Aafart ticket office, there are several parking options for cars. Odense C offers plenty of parking options, though most require payment or have time limits. We recommend that you park in the “Filosoffen” parking garage, which is located near Odense Aafart.
You’ll find the canoes at Aafarten’s Workshop, which is located about 700 meters from the Filosoffen parking garage. You can see the location of Aafarten’s Workshop on the map here:
Skovsøen
There are several parking options near Engen by Skovsøen: Here, you can choose to park in the parking lots at Jensens Bøfhus, Den Fynske Landsby, Fruens Bøge Station, or on the southern part of Skovalleen near Skovsøen Ishus.
Parking is free at the locations listed above.
Bellinge
It’s easy to find parking near the canoe bridge in Bellinge.
We recommend that you park at Ådalskolen, which is located close to the starting point. From there, it’s just a short walk to the canoe bridge.
Please do not park on the grassy area by the canoe bridge. It is heavily used by many people, and parked cars can prevent other vehicles and trailers from loading and unloading.
Ejby Mølle
If you end your canoe trip at Ejby Mølle, there are unfortunately no parking spaces nearby, but there are residential streets in the area where you can park for free.
We suggest, for example, Jomborgsvej or Styrbjørnsvænget.
Stige Island
The terminal on Stige Island (Det Varme Vand) is marked on the map to the right.
For your convenience, we recommend that you park your car at the final stop. This makes it easy for you to continue on your way after the tour ends. There is free parking right next to the final stop, so you can park without any worries.
