Liability and insurance

You always sail at your own risk. As a boater, you are responsible for your canoe, equipment and your behavior on the water. You must be considerate of nature, other boaters and your surroundings throughout the trip.

You are liable for any damage caused to the canoe, equipment, environment or other persons as a result of irresponsible or incorrect boating. We recommend that you make sure that your private insurance covers any damage while canoeing.
