Wine is a wonderful and versatile beverage enjoyed by wine lovers around the world. Made from many different grape varieties, each wine has its own special characteristics that make it unique.
At this special tasting, our sommelier has handpicked his own favorites to take you on an exciting and unique journey through the world of wine. You’ll be introduced to both classic and exciting new wines, all handpicked for their unique character and quality.
Wines can vary considerably depending on the grape variety, the production method, and the region and climate they come from. During this tasting, we will explore what wine can really do. We’ll taste five different wines – from fresh and light whites, to full-bodied and complex reds – showing that wine is much more than just a beverage.
Grab your friend, colleague, family member or just yourself and join us on a journey into the world of wine. Look forward to a cozy and relaxed evening and not least a fantastic tasting experience while enjoying the view of the picturesque nature along Odense River. There is hardly any better way to experience this beautiful river.

The sailing takes place on Odense River on the same stretch as Odense Aafart’s other tour boats.

Do I need to buy a ticket in advance?
Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance via Odense Aafart’s website, as there are a limited number of seats.

Only if seats are available. It is recommended to book well in advance.
Can you use gift cards?
Yes, if the gift card is valid for events at Odense Aafart.
Is there an age limit?
Yes – the event is for adults over the age of 18 as alcohol tasting is included.
Practical information on board
Can I bring my own drinks?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks as drinks are sold on board.
Is there a toilet on board?
There is no toilet on board the tour boats. We recommend that you use the restrooms before departure.
Can I get on the tour boat with a wheelchair?
Only manual wheelchairs can enter the tour boat. There are two steps down into the boats. There are no ramps, so it takes a pair of hands to help you down the two steps and into the boat. Then we carry the chair down afterwards.
Rollators can be brought along.
Can you smoke on board the tour boats?
Generally no, unless otherwise agreed for private tours.
Does Odense Aafart sail in all weathers?
Yes, Odense Aafart sails in all kinds of weather. The boats are covered and we sail on the Odense River on a stretch that is well protected from wind and weather.

You’ll learn about the hand-picked wines, their grapes, style and origin, and how the sommelier assesses them – making the experience both educational and sensory.
