Based on five different Riesling wines, we guarantee an exciting tasting, both for those who know the grape well and for those who have yet to get acquainted with the noble grape.
Originating from the Rhine region, Riesling, with its beautiful, floral, almost perfumed and finely balanced acidity, has been a favorite of vintners and sommeliers for many years. In recent years, the aromatic grape has also caught the attention of many wine drinkers. Not only have more high-quality dry wines appeared on the shelves, but many people’s taste buds have shifted towards fresher, mineral wines with mouth-watering acidity.
We’ll taste German, Austrian, French and overseas versions, from the very dry to the densely sweet, as we guide you through the grape’s diverse terroir expressions, styles and sweetness levels.

The sailing takes place on Odense River on the same stretch as Odense Aafart’s other tour boats.

No, the tour is conducted as a single event without boarding and disembarking along the way.

Do I need to buy a ticket in advance?
Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance via Odense Aafart’s website, as there are a limited number of seats.

Only if seats are available. It is recommended to book well in advance.
Can you use gift cards?
Yes, if the gift card is valid for events at Odense Aafart.
Is there an age limit?
Yes – the event is for adults over the age of 18 as alcohol is included in the tasting.
Practical information on board
Can I bring my own drinks?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own drinks as drinks are sold on board.
Is there a toilet on board?
There is no toilet on board the tour boats. We recommend that you use the restrooms before departure.
Can I get on the tour boat with a wheelchair?
Only manual wheelchairs can enter the tour boat. There are two steps down into the boats. There are no ramps, so it takes a pair of hands to help you down the two steps and into the boat. Then we carry the chair down afterwards.
Rollators can be brought along.
Can you smoke on board the tour boats?
Generally no, unless otherwise agreed for private tours.
Does Odense Aafart sail in all weathers?
Yes, Odense Aafart sails in all kinds of weather. The boats are covered and we sail on the Odense River on a stretch that is well protected from wind and weather.
